As part of an on-going collaboration with the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing the 2021 Experimental Studio headed by Zhu Pei, Dongmei Yao, Rem Koolhaas and MANN focuses on the redevelopment of four villages in Jiangxi Province. Together with 10 students the team is identifying the vital characters of the villages and based on this research develop strategies to enhance their future functioning.
